Per their 10K filing, AWS operates 38,204,000sq ft of (presumably mostly) datacenter space. 17.77 mil sq ft owned, 20.43 mil sq ft leased. Based on my own accounting, the ~78 buildings in us-east-1 are ~11,750,000sq ft -- almost 1/3rd of their total footprint!
