Dear First Mint, It’s been three years since I minted you. Who could have guessed the path it would set? Since then, I’ve sold over 2400 pieces, given a TEDx talk on AI and art, hit an ATH of 1.8 ETH on SuperRare, exhibited in more than 15 countries, and built a collection of hundreds of works by amazing artists. And recently my first AI short film made it to traditional film festivals. Beyond the milestones, it’s the friendships that make this journey unforgettable. Thank you all for the love ❤️ With gratitude for every step, the best is yet to come 🔥

Unlike painting or film, which capture time and memory, AI art doesn’t come from lived experience. It’s a ghost of experiences it never had. What makes it so eerie and dreamlike is its ability to mimic nostalgia without the context of memory. It evokes moods of forgotten eras but never commits to any. The softness of vintage film, the worn traces of paper, the surreal decay of forgotten photographs: they’re all there, but dislocated, like artifacts unearthed without knowing their origin. The past, present, and imagined future all exist at once, but they kind of feel lost. Therefore AI-generated works create the sensation of missing something we’ve never known. Perhaps it is the weight of the times never existed.
