@miracleebals After all the not-so-subtle jabs and use of words, if you cannot prove in contrast that the Calvinist position is that βRegeneration is simultaneous with Faithβ at the very least, then you have wasted our time. Nobody said βprecedeβ must entail days & weeks; yet my point remains.

@bigsamfirefox It doesnβt matter how rapid the succession, it does teach that people are made new creation when they havenβt even believed in Christ yet, and that canβt be accurate. I agree God must do something to help the sinner believe but it is not necessarily Regeneration/New Birth.

The argument has never been that Eucharist is not the body & blood of Christ, or the denial of the Real Presence of Christ in the Communion (at least for majority of Christians) but the MODE. How is He present? Neither the apostles nor the early church fathers defined the mode.

@bigsamfirefox This is how. By saying βRegeneration precedes Faith (the faith in Jesus that justifies you)β, it means you had not yet believed in Jesus when you were regenerated, God made you new before you believed in Jesus and then got justified. Do you see the problem in the concept now?

@MarvBankole The Arminian however doesnβt deny that there is an operation of God upon the heart of the sinner at the preaching of the Gospel, convicting them of sin and enabling them to believe the truth, but he doesnβt claim this operation is the βNew Birth/Regenerationβ (which is by Faith).
