Do you mean Ureaplasma? I got that and didnโt work for 3 months. I had to take two months worth of antibiotics to get rid of it. I did my duty of care to others and didnโt shoot. I cancelled all my shoots and made people aware. If they know they have it and are working with it and not making people aware then that is cruel and selfish. Iโm glad you are asking the questions because this might actually make people think twice about what they are doing! Communication and trust in these situations is key. If they want to work together in their own bubble and they are all positive and they are all aware then thatโs on them (I may disagree with it and think itโs awful and stupid but they have knowledge of what they are doing and they are in charge of their own health). But the minute they work with someone that isnโt aware of the situation because they havenโt told them then thatโs when it becomes careless and reckless and you are taking people choice away. People have a duty of care to their fellow colleagues in this industry.

The standards in the UK are terrible and it doesnโt help when people like the person in question is careless and dangerous with their actions. People not testing for MGen is stupid and I could genuinely spend hours moaning about that too because itโs selfish and dangerous. However, the tweet is about a person who has an understanding of testing standards and what they should do when finding out they are in an STI chain. He was still reckless with his actions as he knew what he was doing which is why there is so much anger towards him.
