That is enough for me. I rise. I fall. I avoid. I dive in. I am every jagged edge of rock waiting to be climbed; to see what’s beyond. This life is serious, even in laughter. It is both light and heavy. Once you see the worst of how humans behave, the mind never unsees the traits. I ask myself how I can right the wounds I’ve left in my own unhealed days. The whispers say, “Keep mending.” Why are you here, dear? What is your purpose? How many layers of the veil will you peel? How far into your portals will you step by step by step? Pretense is boring. It leaves plastic aftermath in the throat, a bitter taste. It’s a waste of time and if you’d rewind it all, see the reversed and rehearsed metronome tick-tocking while you step to the beat, you will probably cease. You’ll have a moment. It will feel like a snap, but it’s a slow progression. One day you will say to yourself that you finally see it all. You’ll wonder why you waited so long. You didn’t. You just had to walk the trails of your mission. And suddenly out of the blue your timeline shifts. You are going fast and slow in simultaneousness. When you make peace with your compartments, understand the intricate effect of your own design, your skin becomes calm. You sit with it all. You begin to mold it into universes and DNA reversing. You close your eyes and crawl the cells, retracing all that brought you here. You turn the roots of macabre memories into ash. Add the water. Hydrate the soul. Make a new mold. It’s a process of smoothing, creating what feels beautiful to you. It’s choosing new patterns and solidifying them in the scorching fires of change. It’s applying the coat of protection to forever embody your glorious creation. You keep on fine-tuning your sculpture. Take your time with each spin.
