@cremieuxrecueil Just make them from steel like Canada, or stainless steel like Mexico. The Canadians have a fantastic multi-ply nickel and copper plating process.

@OfficialCWATSON @OTooleJr Rick Springfield? Is he alive? I'm confused. Hardly anyone would know Springfield in 2025.

@Ravarora1 I changed my mind.
Okay, I've changed my mind. It was MUCH better than I thought. I missed part of it earlier. Seeing it all over again it's just good, good, good. I didn't like Samuel L Jackson's interruptions much, but the rest worked.

So would Tom Brady. The problem is that Dak isn't good enough and will never be in a Super Bowl. There's not much reason to keep talking about him. It's over. The Cowboys made a terrible mistake making him the top paid player β a historic flub. The Cowboys are out of contention for as long as he's the starter, and probably for as long as the Jones family owns the team. It's over. Next season will the 30th straight year the Cowboys don't get past the Divisional Round of the playoffs. That's insane, and at some point soon the team will lose significant fan interest.

My first question to @perplexity_ai. Solid answer. They've got a million dollar sweepstakes going on during the game. If you haven't installed it already:

@carolmswain @ScottPresler No, it's just anons and bots who influencers were amplifying by condemning, as though it were real.

This is incredible. I can't BELIEVE they actually ran the ad on the left. Find the people responsible and make sure they're out.

DOGE needs better PR. It's hard to succeed in this world against established interests without good PR. It would also help if we had an up-to-date tracker of @DOGE findings, recommendations, insights, etc as they come. I assume that's in the works. As of now, the DOGE-dot-gov website is empty β no content, menus, nothing. I'm seeing lots of claims about fraud, fraud, fraud, but I'm not aware of a single real example that has surfaced. Nor would I expect one so soon β it's too early, and if you're going to talk about fraud with respect to actions by specific individuals, that requires investigation that probably has to be handed off to others and could take months to lock down, possibly with charges. (DOGE could stand up an investigative team, forensics, etc. but it would have to be small and focused.) So it would be great for DOGE to deploy a tracker of findings and savings. X is too ephemeral and chaotic for anything you want people to be able to point to or find easily β search is broken and threads aren't visible to people who aren't logged in. A user can't go to the DOGE X profile page and do much β there's no menu, no tools. It's not like a real website. It would also help for DOGE to lead with rigor β every single claim would be true and backed by a link to the evidence and explanation. DOGE is taking some hits right now because of all the influencers, many of them anonymous, who are making false claims about tax dollars going to this or that, or that federal grants, even USAID specifically, "funded" NYT, Politico, etc. (as opposed to subscriptions, obscenely expensive in Politico's case). The @DataRepublican graphs have become almost useless because they don't actually trace tax dollars, and people have run away with false claims based on convoluted graphs that will soon become a meme for conservative conspiracy theorizing. Basically, the fact that DOGE has no website or tracker has left a vacuum to be filled by engagement farming "influencers". That's no good. It's important for DOGE's efforts to be credible and the claims airtight. Rule #1: Nothing false, nothing misleading. We've got a $7.2 trillion federal budget for FY2025 β we won't have to make stuff up to find waste and fraud. So a tracker and online tools like DR's would be great. And @lulumeservey-level PR/comms. I'm happy to help, like lots of people. We need that tracker up, maximum transparency into DOGE's work, lots to brag about, etc.

This is frustrating. @elonmusk can you lock it down and stop getting over your skis with all these wild claims and innuendos? You're going to hurt your cause β OUR cause β by establishing a track record of false or misleading claims. In 2020, Samantha Power made almost $500k from Harvard alone. She made over $200k in speaking fees. Just in that year. She made between $100k and $1 million from a book. Just in that year. Her husband Cass Sunstein pulled in lots of money as well, which is on the disclosure. Yes, these people really rake it in. It's a very different life from the typical American's, and their "work" looks wildly overcompensated, but there's no reason to assume fraud on her part wrt to her role at USAID. Here's her OGE financial disclosure for 2020 (PDF). Charlatans like @MarioNawfal aren't going to do any work to find stuff out. He's just farming for engagement, and you, Elon, are paying him handsomely for his junk. What the hell man?
@amuse How did she accumulate wealth that is 100 times her after tax salary?

@MarioNawfal Can you clarify that this was an Internews exclusion list? Where is the list? There were other exclusion lists, and he might be referring to one of those. I haven't seen the Internews list anywhere. Where is it?

@GorinMoti They didn't access people's private data, and they don't have the power to control federal spending. Being a leftist is a bad choice in part because your information environment is full of misinformation and maniacal conspiracy theories.
