Really worried about the junior doctors working in Acute Medical Unit at QEH, UHB. The no. of calendar days lost due to sickness is 4 times more than elsewhere in the trust. Junior Doctors, please look after each other and yourself.
Been through the new GOLD GUIDE. Absolute waste of time and resources. It is just a cut and paste job from the previous GG. No innovation. No change in archiac thinking. No thought of Trainees well being. No accountability.
GMC on bullying: We always take Bullying VERY Seriously.
ACAS guidelines: All complaints about bullying and harassment should be taken seriously.
Data: 180 out of 213 complaints of bullying ( 85% ) to GMC were closed without investigation in 2022." Very serious."
Filed a formal complaint about bullying and harassment against the individual named in the last letter written by Vaish.
The UHB Trust unilaterally refused to proceed without even asking me if I have any evidence.
So much for " ZERO" tolerance.
There are a lot more sections you need to know. I am taking a short break for medical reasons. Will continue when back. Missing Vaish. Wish she was here at this time.
One Trust treats 2 complaints by Junior doctors against consultants in a toxic unit informally and names them as" Interpersonal Issues ". ? New name for Bullying. What Interpersonal Issues can be there between a junior doctor and a consultant.
After 2 " Independent Inquiries " and a" Culture Review " ( Funded by Trust)and a Staff Survey which said 50% of staff felt Bullied. Looks like its becoming more unsafe for the staff.

Dear Partha, where there is good, there is bad as well otherwise one would not know what is good. Please ignore the snarks and subtweets. They will die on their own if don't react to them. Thank you for all your support both emotionally and this mission.
They take immediate action only when referred by a trust even the reasons are ridiculous ( Laptop case)
Maybe people are complaining for fun.
Maybe it should be funded by public and the trusts.
Is it time to have an Independent Coplaints Commission like IPCC?
Section 4.68: ARCP panel should consist of atleast three panel members.
Anything less is not legal. I know of several instances where only member panels conducted ARCP'S and gave non standard outcomes. Be aware. Can be challenged.
Section 4.59: NHS WTE will give the trainees and their trainers atleast six weeks notice of the date by which the educational portfolio is required. I know most of the time this is not followed putting the trainees under tremendous pressure. Be aware

Vaishnavi was sent an email by Medical Resources on 15th July to ask if is still working and if she is being paid (24days after she has passed away) followed by another one 3 days after to respond. Don't know what to say
