The fall freeze is coming! OCTOBER 11 for some of our areas.
The average first fall freeze date for west of the Blue Ridge is around 10/11, with piedmont locations around 10/21. Only a few locations have already seen a freeze, but more areas could see their first freeze with below average temperatures expected in the next two weeks.
