I will not be donating to Goodwill any longer. What organization should I donate to?
"This is my new friend, Kenny, but he goes by the nickname Frog, because of his deep voice. I stopped in at Goodwill today to find a shirt for a party I am having. I went in knowing that I was going to buy a shirt to cut the sleeves off of. Apparently I was meant to stop here today. Mr. Kenny walked in and was begging for a clean tshirt, at a place which is run strictly from our donations. They not only turned him away, the cashier was nasty mean to him. All he wanted was a clean shirt and maybe some pants. He kept saying how cold he was, and I am sure he was because his shirt was soaked. When they finally called for a manager, this gentleman stood In front of everyone embarrassed and crying, they couldn't even take him to the side, just let him stand at the counter crying. I purchased 4 shirts, a pair of jeans and boxers as well as a comforter so that when he is sleeping under the bridge tonight maybe he will be warm. There was another man that came up and gave him $5 for a warm meal, and Kenny promised he was going to get some chicken at Lees. I am not telling you so I can brag, I am telling you this so I can ask you to please say prayers for Kenny and all other homeless like him." Credit Amy LeeAnne Frank
