@vermontpublic We need a class action lawsuit against the state for using salt. It cuts 10 years off the life of a car. Because of salt we have the ridiculous task of an annual vehicle inspection. Salt poisons the environment. Why can't we use sand, like every ski resort in the west?

@vermontpublic If they were building gas stations the whole state would ask why the state was building gas stations. But since they are building charging stations, of course that's ok?

@pbeanVT I don't like it either, but this is a cultural decision, not a legal one. When our culture is mature enough to be intolerant of such degrading photos, then it will go away due to social pressure. That's how it has to work.

@samofvermont Automation uses a computer to record the temperature at the exact same time interval over long periods of time. Prior to computers, a human had to walk outside and write down the number off the gauge, which is less precise, and prone to error. Yes, there would be a difference.

@GreenGregDennis @RepBeccaB Fox is certainly mainstream. I can't remember the last time I watched Fox. I'm not maga, at all. What I saw this election season in the way the media handled Biden and Harris was eye opening. I now refer to the msm as the sharp-as-a-tack coalition. They deserve no respect.

@GreenGregDennis @RepBeccaB You don't have to "take a side" in order to respect the truth. The msm has been a mouthpiece for the left. This last election cycle made that undeniably apparent.

@GreenGregDennis @RepBeccaB These are two events. The Biden story occurred in October before the election. Trump was still on FB and Twitter back then. The FBI knew it was real and hid the story. The msm parroted that. After Jan 6th Facebook coordinated with the FBI to silence conservatives.

@VTDC802 The federal government is choosing to remove funding to state and cities that harbor people who are here illegally. This could be worse. The feds could start prosecuting states' attorneys who are allowing this to happen in their states. I would prefer both.

@vermontpublic The broadband proram is so slow and overpriced it should be investigated for fraud. For the money that they have already spent, starlink could have been put into almost every home in the state. It is about 8 times less expensive.

@GreenGregDennis @RepBeccaB Conspiracy? Mark Zuckerberg has admitted to working with the FBI to silence conservative voices. He also said he would stop. And the FBI has admitted that they knew the Biden laptop was valid. They said they knew it within hours. The media called it russian misinformation.

@eva_kurilova How would you feel if your neighbors introduced themselves as heterosexuals? It would seem like they were trying to make a point, wouldn't it?

@CMarkCoester Gender studies major. Maybe we can find a study to learn what that major covers, who takes it, and where they end up.

@jakeshieldsajj Rage Against The Machine was admitted into the rock and roll hall of fame, and therefore is part of the "machine" it "rages" against. Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

@pbeanVT One seems unlikely, but a glance at burlington well tell you that illegal drug use is effectively legal.

@GreenGregDennis @RepBeccaB A coup? The world has changed, and the gloves are off. When the FBI colluded with the mainstream media to hide the Hunter Biden laptop story, was that a coup? When Facebook worked with the FBI to block conservative voices, was that a coup? I voted D for 44 years. No more.

@vtdigger Does Vermont understand that Trump won the election? The people elected him to do what he's doing now. If there is a coup, it's a coup of the people.

@vermontpublic @sevendaysvt Maybe you should track murders related to drug use. Maybe your should track how many repeat offenders are put back onto the streets.
