I am late to the party today cause I spent all day getting this to work but IT WORKS. Transitions aren't always in sync but I now have a music system that adapts to what's going on and can repeat and shuffle the music and transitions until the battle ends.

Letting the player decide when to stick to things does add some interesting traversal opportunities.
Added little mini boosts if you let off the accelerator and hit it again just as you land. I could see this being abused if not limited somehow but also it's so much fun >‿>
