I love finding something weird and this ticks all my boxes, This is the recently opened Roller Coaster at Gohar Park near Sirjan in Iran. Featuring B&M style box track, a vertical loop and a watersplash, the ride was built by Iranian company Shadi Sazan Dornegan.

It's not often a whole major coaster gets built without anyone realising but heres a whole new GCI wooden coaster at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park on Phu Quoc,Vietnam . This will be Vietnams first wooden coaster and will open in 2022. An official announcement is expected soon.

Always love it when a park does this. Back in 2019 Gongqing Forest Park in Shanghai closed their aging Sameco loopscrew. But instead of demolishing the entire ride they incorperated part of the ride into some new gardens.

In somewhat surprise news Tokyo Dome City in Japan will open what appears to be a new Gerstlauer Family Shuttle Coaster on the 23rd of March. The ride called Panic Coaster Back Daaan is completely enclosed with some special effects thrown in.

This new year brought the opening of All Speeds the new Intamin built Taron clone at Sunac Land Chengdu. Now yes its not as well themed as Taron but its a great addition to the country. And hey if the themeing isnt as good as the orginal, you can stick a load of LED's on it.

This isn't news today but thought it was worth sharing. this is the only good picture of Boomerang at Tokyo Dome City I have ever seen. This Arrow Shuttle Loop only lasted for 4 short years running from 1980 to 1984.

Here's an onride or the recently opened Vekoma indoor junior coaster at Respublika Mall in Kiev, Ukraine. It seems to keep its speed up really well and certainly looks like one of the better examples of the genre.

A second Zhipao Vertical Coaster has appeared at Elm Creek Park in Yulin, China. Sporting a shorter layout it seems to keep it's speed up a little better than the one at Dinosaur Town. It would also appear that this ride has replaced the park's earlier loopscrew coaster.

Over Water Roller Coaster, an old school jet coaster at Honey Lake in Shenzhen, China has sat SBNO for 17 years, left to the elements for that whole time I think we all knew it was never coming back. But still kind of sad to see it ripped down.

Longchong Scenic Spot in Chongqing, China has installed their new seesaw ride called Cliff Coaster. Hanging over a 1500ft cliff edge this is certainly not a ride for those with a fear of heights.
