It's not meaningless, it's a short sighted bias similar to "safe and effective". It must be true because it's so loud in the echo chamber. The U.S. has far more influence over Canada than all other nations combined. Those in the medical profession believe pharmaceutical products are safe while those tied to Federal Intelligence maintain their stereotypical anti Muslim bias. I've witnessed this first hand. I find the insight from former RCMP money laundering expert William Majcher to be more realistic. Regardless, we all have a perspective and I choose to weigh all of these concerns with reasonable proportion.
