The issues we face in #rural Australia are not unique. Time for all countries to adopt the #WHO recommendations for #oralhealth as part of #PHC and #UHC.
Rural communities too often face barriers to dental care access. Efforts like expanding dental care coverage, transportation assistance, community water fluoridation & integrating oral health screenings into routine primary care visits can increase access to care. #teethmatter

Great paper and many of those low SES areas are in rural/regional areas. We must do better to ensure better #oralhealth for all #RuralHealthMatters
Areas with less resources and lower SES status in QLD are missing the benefits of fluoridated water. What is the current government’s plan to provide access for those that would benefit most from it? @StevenJMiles @ShannonFentiman
