@ShitpostRock I kinda hate how vexillogy has kinda killed alot of the creativity with flags. I ABSOLUTELY HATE the tri/bicolor flag system so many countries go by cause it doesn't give enough cultural distinction half the time.

As someone who came to understand Mishima alot more, if you really take away alot of whats makes them different, you realize these two are not far from each other. Just ones career ended in such a fashion its hard to tell if he was larping his stories or not.

@TennyUnderscore I imagine it was cultural shock too. I mean, to have seen Japanese anime, you REALLY had to be in the know from what I understand. Either with imports or really rare dubs. Anime exposure only really started to become more common I think in the 90s.
