I think people forget last season the midfield 3 of Casemiro Eriksen and Bruno only lost one game if I'm not wrong , that too the FA cup final in which we all know how we lost. Them 3 had defined roles which complimented each other and made the team play better.

Some more info, the staff etc are really not happy with Sancho. They worked hard and had a whole new role for him which they also worked on during pre season, playing him through the middle. All that work and effort has effectively gone to waste because of Sanchos attitude.

That's the biggest issue with the Isak thing. Club tried a lot, offered a significant contract but ultimately he wanted first team opportunities and that's on Ten Hag, and he hasn't done so. Ten Hag previously also promised him opportunities but never ended up giving him that.
