#TheQueenWhoCrowns Ep 13 & 14 was supposed to be a light backstory of Taejong & Wongyeong bt it turned out bittersweet for me. I love how their rltnshp started bt also it was sad seeing how they fulfilled their dream then things changed & they cldn’t enjoy what they’d created tgt

Wongyeong & Bangwon had dreams to bring change & she cld see he’d make a good ruler & wanted to do what she cld for him. Ths was also her way of fulfilling her dream of bringing change & esp for women as we’d seen hw she helped them & was frustrated at their ill/cruel treatment

@angelathompson5 He really did & I saw someone say he’s incompetent which had me confused? He was brutal yes & was unreasonable when it came to Wongyeong cuz he felt threatened by her & her family’s power too but as a King he made sure he served his ppl well at least from what was shown!

@angelathompson5 + it was also his way of reminding the Queen that he’s the King, the one in control & she’s just his subject (esp with the first two brothers even tho they did cross the line the second time after their exile)
