If you are residing in Tamil Nadu, VFS Italy would not accept your application at Kolkata. You will have to apply to consulate of Mumbai which means you can apply to cochin, pune, Ahmedabad, hoa, Bangalore, chennai, kochi, puducherry, Hyderabad
