PUN stands against this terrible blockage of much needed new affordable housing. The residents of Rhode Island are experiencing high rents, high housing prices, and high utilities. Rhodies need housing.
I would like to thank the Johnston Town Council for granting me the authority to go forward with eminent domain on the 252 unit, 100% low-income housing site. Rest assured, we will provide our first responders and residents with the 21st century facilities they deserve.

@FoxPointSteve @JohnGPVD The councilman did a very good job of trying to balance community concerns about parking and waterfront access, and recognizing that this project is “by-right,” and that the city needs more housing!
