We dont need a tram to the new stadium. We need a new station at sandhills that can cope with the demands of 50k people going through it from 4 different directions. It's really not rocket science.

Who pays for a new station? Everton? No. Merseyrail? No, they only run the service. Network Rail? No, as it won't be Government funded. Merseytravel? The only option, but how do they pay for it? Happy for them to hike up Council Tax and Business Rates to fund it?
Everton needed a new train station for Bramley Moore. Instead, your 75 year old crippled grandad will need to walk a mile to Sandhills station, penned in like cattle queing in the pouring down rain, to get a train to his car parked in middle of nowhere so he can get home.

It's on @merseyrail now to provide an efficient and fast service in and out of Sandhills on matchdays, so ppl have confidence either to leave their car at home or near another train station. Hopefully it's similar to what happens at Aintree on the Grand National days
