We are in a Fortnite era where kids win huge tournaments and people credit their input method instead of congratulating them and recognizing their skill. Comp community is a bunch of jealous weirdos.
Ping based matchmaking would be 1000x better than the current SBMM system in Fortnite. Epic has to realize that their game only plays well when players have a good connection to it.
Fortnite is so ping based that its getting completely unplayable if you're on 50+, let alone people who play on 100+. Honestly think its a huge problem thats not really talked about cause all the pros are on 10 or less.
I think controller is more successful in fortnite vs other games because of the building aspect, NOT aim assist being stronger. Building lets you play angles easier, and also incentivizes game IQ. This lowers the inherent aim and flick advantage of keyboard and mouse.
Epic could fix this whole "add BRUTES to let players get their first win" thing by just making a beginner mode you can only play if you've never won a game. Bingo here's a win against a bunch of newer players feels good gets addicted welcome to Fortnite.
Investing > flexing and it's not even close. If you're young and have no idea how or what investing is, please research it. You might literally throw away millions for the cost of a double cheeseburger a week. This is not an exaggeration. ILY have a great Friday champs.
I don't know how good of an idea removing legacy is for longevity. Vast majority of players rarely even open the settings menu, and tweaking how the game feels for them might turn them off from playing anymore.
Interesting decision from Epic.
I'm 27. I live in a house I bought from video games. My girlfriend is bringing down cocoa pudding cake while i grind unlocks for warzone. Life is good.
Happy to announce I've joined

My advice to new fortnite players. Dont practice, dont improve. You'll have to wait longer for games that die in 5 minutes. Seriously, stay trash and it will be more fun.
Yo I need streamer friends to grind fortnite with. All of them have retired. DM me if you have a good mic, good comms, and know how to use push to talk (most important). Big following not required.
My goals for 2020:
10k concurrent viewers
1 billion YouTube subs
World domination
But also world peace
Climate change reverses and everywhere is covered in a sheet of narly pow pow.
Ski the entire world
Ski off the edge
Become first astronaut on skis
Colonize Mars
Eat a chip
I think I'm going to finally try a controller with paddles instead of claw. Straight up feel like I'm running out a buttons with all the binds in Fort. What do you guys recommend?
SBMM in Fortnite is off for your first solo of the day. Really weird move, makes your first game really fun and then reminds you of how sleeper SBMM is for the rest of the day.
