Aim assist got buffed at range and nerfed in close quarters. Smgs are significantly affected by it. This is a great update.

I think controller is more successful in fortnite vs other games because of the building aspect, NOT aim assist being stronger. Building lets you play angles easier, and also incentivizes game IQ. This lowers the inherent aim and flick advantage of keyboard and mouse.

I don't know how good of an idea removing legacy is for longevity. Vast majority of players rarely even open the settings menu, and tweaking how the game feels for them might turn them off from playing anymore.
