Why do our YECs matter? We know that educators already have their 🍽️s full. Our YECs go into schools around the province to work with students to develop school-based initiatives to promote health outcomes. At UpLift, we are helping to build the capacity for healthy schools. 🏫

Through an #UpLiftNS Student Action Grant, we helped Pine Ridge Middle School build a fully accessible school garden using mobi-mats! This student-led initiative helps students learn about creating inclusive, accessible spaces while developing independence and leadership skills.
