Let’s be real – most Web3 games these days don’t last long, and their storylines/gameplay just ain’t strong enough to keep people hooked. I’m betting big that Web2 gaming giants will eventually step in to clean house or expand the space, which would actually move things in the right direction. Right now, most of what’s out there are either quick cash grabs or what we call ‘pump-and-dump’ schemes. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying MapleStory N isn’t one of those schemes too. But it could be a more sustainable one with actual long-term potential and room to grow.
