This week's challenge is to observe the Crescent Nebula, NGC 6888! This emission nebula is a shell of gas forming from its central star, known as WR 136. WR 136 is about 600,000 times brighter, 20 times more massive, and 5 times larger than our own Sun!

Comet SWAN observed with an eVscope. Discovered recently with the @ESA SOHO spacecraft, this comet came to the rescue after the disappointing Comet ATLAS. Currently in the Piscis Austrinus at dawn for Southern Hemisphere observers, it will come to the north and be brighter in May

Did you see the Venus & Jupiter getting together this morning? Our team watched it with the eVscope from Marseille, despite a strong mistral of 40 MPH. Here a bird photobombed one of our pictures by flying between the two planets. Venus is on the top and Jupiter on the bottom.
