I see both sides of the argument. I just think 99% of people in the same situation would do the same. You could argue all that hard work in his youth to be earning 400k a week by the time he's 21 is amazing? & then by the time he's 24-25 can return?
@UmitEminoglu Because they are paid an incredible amount of money already mate, they’re not going from 40k a year to 160k, they’re going from 100k a week to 400k.. but ruining all that hard work through all your youth to go into a shit leave at 21 is awful

Is this the only industry where we judge people for quadrupling their salary? We wouldn't think twice in any 'every day' jobs if someone was to get a 5% raise in salary, never mind 400%, so why are footballers judged differently?
