If you didn't know, there are lines that can be used for better pathing and more efficient boost grabs. The straight lines on the sides will allow you grab 6 pads if you drive in the open space between the pads, instead of curving. 4, if you take the diagonal lines for

I wish training packs in Rocket League had ghost cars, where the creators can show how the shot is intended, make it an optional toggle for people that want to do their own thing. That'd be what training packs need.

PSA: Do not make your only games with friends you hang out with competitive games if you can't consistently have fun with them. If you aren't winning and just get negative/angry, your relationships take bigger hits than your Elo.

Quit my job. Even my parents don't blame me for this one. They were surprised I tolerated as much as I did. 👍

As a coach of 6 years, I'm allowed to criticize coaches if I see basic principles covered *even from youtube* not being addressed after a coach's long-time employment with an org. There are many coaches that can fill that slot and deliver exponential growth.

I am now looking for CRL opportunities. My time at Seton Hall was one of my favorite experiences with a program.
Gaining LAN experience was essential and a massive wakeup call to how I want players to feel ready for that.
3 years experience with collegiate programs helps. ❤️

Rotations at the highest level are not the epitome of the game btw. It's way too fast to try and maintain a "team structure" as opposed to just adapting effectively. Individuals make the team. The team is not made through crafting a "team formula," you'd just keep correcting.

I've never felt more confident in my ability as a coach than I do now. Really reaffirms how much I've learned and how far I've come in my abilities. I'm not vague or general, but I'm not controlling in what a player wants. It's the perfect balance. Mentality, gameplay, vibes.

Complaining about the opponents or being negative in your comms does no one any good. Passive aggressive comments also do not help. Keep comms up, keep the vibes up, otherwise you're gonna lose, get carried, or be an inconvenience to team with.

Don't waste time writing an apology. Show change over time and then apologize for what you used to be. No one will give you credit for bettering yourself and it makes it harder. Writing is rewarding yourself for a job not done. Good luck 👍

If you're solo q and your teammate(s) are overcommitting, you have to be the defense/counter-attack 3rd man. That's how you carry a game. If your team keeps getting scored on, that's because you didn't do this soon enough. You can't change them, only you.

Confidence seems to be the most common subject I've seen people struggling with in RL. They worry too much about being a good teammate and not enough of whether or not their team's play put them in a good situation to transition their own play.
