Not removal, but we are trying to get residual flow. Until now there is zero outflow. All water is transfered into another basin. So the Aoos-Vjosa system is not totally free flowing, but this is the only dam on main river. There are some others on tributaries.
@UlrichEichelman the Vjosa is widely known as the last free flowing river of Europe, but upstream (in Greece, where its known as the Aoos) the source of the Vjosa is Aoos Springs Dam Do you know of any plans for its removal? @NickMott7 @DamRemovalEU

Heute mit @ORF team am Kamp in Niederösterreich gedreht. Dort habe ich Position bezogen für mehr lebendige Flüsse und den Abriss des 115 jahre alten Wehres bei Rosenburg. More to come.
