The Uhuru Institute for Social Development and the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Cooperatives (@mtic_uganda ) to explore strategies to jointly promote quality cooperative growth and people centred development and build resilient economies. The two teams agreed to regular consultations towards formalising these relationship to drive their commitment initiated today. @UhuruInstitute signs partnership with @UvcfTweeter The Uhuru Institute for Social Development (TUI) has signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Uganda Vice Chancellors' Forum (UVCF) to advance cooperative education and opportunities for young graduates through the @skillcoop Graduate Apprentice Programme. Key commitments include: Advocating for cooperative business models within curricula and distributing educational materials. Facilitating collaboration in strategic research, knowledge sharing, and learning between both organisations. Facilitating coaching and mentorship of the apprentices for successful cooperative businesses. Together, TUI and UVCF are building a brighter future for young professionals and fostering cooperative values across Uganda’s higher education institutions. #CoopsInnovate
