This is absurd. We urgently need a scrap management regulation/law that oversees all aspects of scrap, these pylons are collected by someone and sold to someone, there has to be traceability for all scrap and even to the export market

This is great news, but interventions like these on manufacturing without collaboration with manufacturing associations like @newsUMA and @USSIAssociation might end up misguided. An inter institutional committee with vast representative under MTIC or UDC would be a deal.

@rggoobi I mean, we may want as a country to simulate the opportunity cost of foregoing the taxes b4 production that stifle competitiveness and the benefits that accrue to product affordability, stimulate demand, employment and more revenue, (in light of already post COVID poverty level).

And moreso when we have an extra mile in freight to cover being landlocked.
