Yesterday and today, I had the privilege of inaugurating the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Youth Executive for both Olomu and Uvwie Kingdoms. I used the opportunity to charge the newly appointed youth leaders to be proactive and committed to leading in alignment with Agenda 2050—the 25-year Urhobo Youth Development Master Plan. Additionally, I reiterated the importance of upholding our customs and traditions, particularly the proper use of the Aghighon. I emphasized that only traditional titleholders (Olorogun) are permitted to wear it, and any violations will result in appropriate sanctions, including referral to the king for further disciplinary action. It was a truly remarkable and impactful time!

Yesterday, I led the executive members of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) on a courtesy visit to Hon. Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, Member of the House of Representatives for the 3U Federal Constituency. The meeting took place at his constituency office in Udu. We had a fruitful discussion, with assurances of continued goodwill and efforts toward the development and welfare of the people of Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, collectively known as the “3U Constituency.”
