So a team that was supposed to play in the Varsity Tournament today had to drop out at the last minute due to 9 players having the flu. That meant Kelton's JV team was put into action. He stroked a 3 from the right wi g foe his first ever points in a Varsity level contest.

@Tim_Waits @TDTSports There is NO balance. They've removed the value of post play. Big guys now hang out at the 3 point line. Game is almost unrecognizable.

@Tim_Waits Didn't see the play in question, but, does provide cutback opportunities for the ball carrier.

@Tim_Waits Yes. It's a dumb rule. Call a charge or call a blocking foul. You're penalizing teams that score as well as penalizing kids for TRYING to take a Charge. Something they rarely even try to do anyway.

@Tim_Waits @tdtnews Another OUTSTANDING article. You are so correct. The game has become almost unrecognizable. In addition to what you stated, there's also so little reward for post game play because officials almost refuse to call fouls in the post. Kids get hammered and get nothing for it.
