Chargé d'affaires David Hodge got the opportunity to sit down with Prime Minister John Briceño and @MFABelize Minister Francis Fonseca this week to talk about the strong U.S.-Belize relationship. CDA Hodge highlighted the Trump administration's priorities of making the United States safer, stronger and more prosperous while strengthening trade ties, creating partnerships to control migration, and enhancing our hemisphere’s security. They discussed that Secretary Rubio's first trip as Secretary of State — to Central America — was an indication of the administration's focus on the western hemisphere. And we look forward to continuing to work alongside Belize over the next four years!
