BZ #USCG STA Marblehead after report received from #CatawbaIsland PD at 7:20 p.m. yesterday of 1 PIW near the state park on #LakeErie STA airboat crew arrived and found them in an ice shanty on an ice floe, then transported to EMS waiting shoreside. #SAR #IceSafety #GreatLakes

(2/2) At 5:37 p.m. STA Marblehead crew rescued 3 people and Catawba Island Fire crew rescued 1 person from the ice floe. AIRSTA Detroit helicopter conducted an overflight shoreline search and ensured no other stranded ice fishermen were in distress. #Teamwork #SAR #GreatLakes
