With our world awash in antisemitic hate, the last thing we need is for the former president to spew out more antisemitic tropes especially after the Jewish community just cleansed our hearts during HHDs. If someone needs to “get their act together” it’s DJT.

Violent attacks on Jews is called antisemitism which must be condemned never rationalized. Period. In recent days these attacks are on the rise. Harsh rhetoric demonizing Israel invites such attacks. These and all hate crimes are moral stains.

Deliberately targeting civilians is terrorism. Hamas’s attacks must be condemned. We stand in solidarity w/Israelis in the south. A few weeks ago I spent time with the courageous Israelis along the Gaza border who live every day within range of rockets.

As I’m boarding my flight at JFK to Tel Aviv I bumped into 45 NFTY in Israel travelers from URJ Camp Coleman in Georgia. Life changing journey here we come. Next stop Israel!

Thank you ⁦ @yairlapid ⁩ for raising a clear moral voice in the face of the outrageous Flag march slurs: "It is incomprehensible how one can hold an Israeli flag in one's hand and shout 'death to Arabs' at the same time."

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has already caused bloodshed & destruction. “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they practice war anymore."   Isaiah's words ring in our hearts this morning as we pray for the people of Ukraine.

Mazal tov ⁦ @GabbyGiffords ⁩ on your recent Bat Mitzvah. You exemplify the courage of the Maccabees and embody the core values of Torah. Our Jewish community is ennobled by your leadership.

Pleased to hear that a suspect was arrested in the JCC bomb threats. But I remain concerned about the overall increase in Anti-Semitism.
