The Utility Regulator regulates the gas prices for customers of @sseairtricity Gas Supply (in the Greater Belfast and West areas) and @firmusenergy (Ten Towns area). This means that we continuously monitor the components that make up the regulated tariffs and then approve any resulting change to tariffs when necessary. As part of our regular review process, we have started a formal review of the regulated gas tariffs for SSE Airtricity Gas Supply and Firmus Energy. It is expected that the reviews will conclude by late February, with announcements to follow soon after. More information is available on our website 👇

It was great to hear from @NIElectricity's Head of Communications and Engagement, Peter McClenaghan, on the organisation’s response to Storm Éowyn at this morning’s Regional Networking event, which was held by @NIChamber in partnership with @NIElectricity.

As restoration efforts continue following the major impact of Storm Éowyn, we want to recognise the phenomenal amount of work being carried out to restore power to households and business across Northern Ireland. Staff at @NIElectricity, @soni_ltd, @niwnews, emergency services, councils and many others have worked tirelessly in difficult conditions since Friday. More than 200,000 connections have now been restored, and work continues this week. Thank you to the many dedicated workers involved in the work to keep us all safe and connected.
