We have several positions available for our PSO program. This is a great way to learn more about our department and policing in general while working on campus. The position closes on 10/25 and you must apply through Handshake.

Monday motivation with Clover: You can always find friends at UNT, especially with our wonderful dispatchers! It's also important to find the right resources so explore your options - as for Clover, she's got a blue "pacifier" to help with puppy teething.

Thanks to everyone who voted on her name! In a very close vote, the name Clover overtook the name Jazz last Thursday. We ended up with 4,069 votes. Clover won with 1,075. Jazz was in second place with 1,050. The other names and their votes: Maple, 860; Luna, 640; Grace, 444.

Thanks @DentonRC for coming out to meet our new explosives detection K-9, Watson, and his handler, Ofc. Cioffi. The UNT community will be able to meet them at the first home football game on Sept. 7!

K-9 Keegan was our explosives detection dog for 6 years, and he was so good at it that we got the idea to travel back in time to find a younger version of him. Introducing.... K-9 Watson! Nearly identical to Keegan and ready to serve campus at football games & big events.
