Tower Hamlets has become the first council in London to sign up to UNISON’s Migrant Care Worker Charter at a council meeting by unanimous cross party vote!! Migrant workers desperately need protection from unscrupulous employers. Thanks to Cllr @AmyL95 for moving the motion.

UNISON's National Social Work Seminar took place on Saturday. Violence at work, dealing with the regulator & LGBT+ anti-discriminatory practice was on the agenda. Our Branch Secretary chaired the day, which saw nearly 100 social workers from across the UK convene in London.
