Next month, the UMKC Starr Women’s Hall of Fame will host its Class of 2025 induction ceremony at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. This ceremony marks 10 years of celebrating and honoring groundbreaking women who are first in their fields. It's a 54-room mansion unlike any other in Kansas City. Now after 10 years of waiting, Epperson House is getting new life! The vision is for the beloved historic building to be transformed into a 14-room boutique hotel with a café, small library bar, full-service restaurant, intimate event space and a hydrothermal spa.
