Technicians are continuing to work on bringing the services back up. We are expecting critical services (e.g. Student Service Centre, FASmail, HRMS, and authentication services) to be up and running around 15:30 PT.

The UBC IT Network team is currently working with the Vendor on the reported issues. We have isolated the problem to one of the campus routers. We have resolved some of VPN and building network issues and continue to work on remaining network issues.

The UBC IT Network team have resolved the reported network and VPN issues at 18.00 PT on October 5, 2020 by replacing a faulty component of one of the Core UBC routers. We will monitor the situation to ensure no further issues occur.
