@UAChBE is passionate about providing an education that applies beyond the classroom. Consequently, we are committed to offering our students the best study abroad programs possible, with Chemical Engineering consistently ranking as the #1 study abroad major at UA.

@UAChBE is passionate about making Chemical and Biological Engineering a field for everyone. Hence, we are thrilled that in 2024 we had another record-breaking number of female students graduate with BS degrees.

@UAChBE we are extremely proud to attract students from all across the nation and abroad. In recent years the number of out-of-states has grown tremendously, with out-of-state students accounting for 57% of the student body in 2024.

Currently, @UAChBE is the third highest producer of B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering. We are proud of all the growth we have experienced in recent years and are excited about what the future holds for our program.

In 2024, @UAChBE was awarded 29 new external research awards. We are extraordinarily proud of all our faculty and student researchers for making this possible through their hard work.

We are excited to have all our students back on campus for the start of classes today! We hope everyone has a great spring semester.
