Watched the whole video. Agree with the story critique section. Also agree with the scaling critique. But it’s hard to put stock in your difficulty/fun complaints when you didn’t play the hardest parts of the game like tier 3/4 and nightmare dungeons. Nonetheless, great video.

Actually a great question! And Bungie had an answer. To my knowledge, they wanted to keep the lore intact, so even in Halo CE, you actually couldn’t choose Chiefs specific green color in multiplayer. His story is separate from what happens in multiplayer.

Actually, you can go back to Bungie podcasts from early early days, (when political discourse wasn’t nearly as toxic) and hear him and the guys joke about how Marty is the conservative one in the group..so i would say he hasn’t changed all that much

I guess they could make sacrifices/move money around/layoff employees to keep from raising prices 🤷♂️
