The more I think about this... it's absurd to say it's the artists' responsibility if an AI provides possibly copyright material when the artists did not prompt for it. I'm not a Midjourney user, but is that not what MJ is trying to say? That it would be the artists' "fault"?

I used lip syncing with D-ID and combined it with background motion from a PikaLabs video.

The artist is not to blame when the AI is guilty of overfitting, especially when they didn't prompt for anything specific.
The prompt for this was something akin to "a man smoking a cigarette from the 60's"
Overfitting is not a bug, its an oversight. All blame lies with Pika.
