Of course the most significant factor in traffic fatalities is one’s score on a standardized test. When you’re speeding down a rural road and semi pulls out into the intersection, an educated person can calculate their trajectory and act accordingly to survive the crash.
Really doesn't seem like you can conclude that rural living is the issue here. New York and MA are wealthier, more educated, and the demographics are totally different. You see similar differences in all manner of measures of disorder.

Councilor Murphy was reimbursed $518.17 in Oct. Gas was $3.79 in Oct and the F-150 King Ranch gets 16 mpg. That would mean she drove a total of 2,187.5 miles or 70 miles per day in October.

People in Milton are some of the primary beneficiaries of an economy that lures people to the area. They need to stop whining and build housing. Milton is not a gated community for the wealthy.
Milton Planning Board tries to resolve the town’s dispute with the state over MBTA Communities Act while honoring town vote against initial multi-family zoning plan. Most on board feel Milton should not have been classified as a rapid transit community.
