February is Black History Month. Our classrooms will be full of engaging lessons that highlight influential Black leaders, artists, scientists, and change-makers. There will also be engaging performances and other activities celebrating Black culture and history.

Thursday Feb. 6th - Due to icy roads throughout the district, all Tumwater schools will start two hours late. AM buses on snow routes. No preschool, no out-of-district-transportation, no AM sessions for Cascadia HS or New Market. Afternoon activities will take place as scheduled.

BHHS Senior, Kiley McMahon,hit a HUGE milestone in a recent game! Kiley was presented with her 1,000 career point ball! She is the 4th player to have a ball displayed in the BHHS showcase for such an achievement! Also, she scored 23 points and defeated Aberdeen! Way to go Kiley!

Sloane Krueger was named WIAA Athlete of the Week! Sloane remains undefeated, dominating with 1st place finishes in 5 consecutive tournaments. Her incredible efforts helped the Black Hills Girls Wrestling Team bring home their first team trophy in the program's 3-year history!

🎉Big congrats to Talon Morril for being named a WIAA Athlete of the Week in December! Talon, a junior and BHHS boys' basketball team captain has led the team in both points and assists. He is also maintaining all A’s on his report card! Way to go, Talon!
