We prefer to provide fully functioning comfort stations to our park users. However, we will be saving all the funding we have spent on replacing this very sink over the course of the year to purchase surveillance systems.

Public Opinion Question: Would you like to see the section of trail from the River Spirit Casino to 96th Street expanded to a dual trail like the sections north of the casino? Retweet or Like for Yes!
Most of you are awesome at physical distancing and only visiting the park with those that live under the same roof as you. Some of you are not. TPD are monitoring and can decide to remove park amenities if it's too unsafe. Don’t be the few that ruin it for the rest of Tulsa.
Apparently, more sightings of the unidentified large mammal occurred Monday and Tuesday according to several reports. Please see our attached statement AND before anyone says anything about what day it is, ya, we KNOW. This is just bad timing for us and coincidental to the matter
River Parks Authority will unveil a new feature this Saturday at Turkey Mountain – the largest natural stone staircase in Oklahoma. It's 101 tall, has 130 natural sandstone steps, and made from 100% stone from Turkey Mountain. Find it on the main trail from the lower parking lot!
Thank you Tulsa! The 2023 Folds of Honor Freedom Fest presented by QuikTrip was fantastic. Your presence made the night even brighter than our spectacular fireworks. Here's to freedom, honor, and shared moments of joy. 📸

UPDATE: Thursday a levy along the west bank soccer fields was eroding. If it failed, then Garden City and all the businesses along Elwood & 41st area would flood. Crossland Construction came to the rescue and worked overnight to build a new levy section.
Riverbank stabilization is still ongoing. Soon, this will have grass growing through it and a variety of native plants. Bonus, the erosion in this area will be greatly diminished!
Have you seen the final Turkey Mountain Master Plan? It was created 100% from the input of Tulsans who submitted over 3,000 comments and attended as series of public meetings. You can read it here -->
Tulsa’s Great Raft Race is TODAY!!!! See you all at River West Festival Park. Paddle board jousting, an a-MAZE-ing race, helicopter rides, craft local beers, 5 bands, professional sand castle, bouncy castles, food trucks, fun Rafts and so so so much more! 10am to 5pm today!
Today! 2-3 PM join us at Turkey Mtn to get your photo snapped with the Bigfoot man himself (or herself). We actually can't tell. I'm sure experts could tell. Maybe?
The Redbud grove
@TurkeyMTN
is 🤯🤯🤯 right now. You should check it out. Take the paved trail behind the bathrooms at the parking lot toward the river. When you get to a bright yellow sign indicating a sharp left turn, there is a gravel road to the right. Take gravel road 100yrd
We've seen a few new visitors to the park. If you see someone on the wrong side, please politely let them know that you "Run by the river, Ride by the Road" on the east bank. We appreciate your help in kindly letting our fellow trail users aware of the side divisions.
Big thanks to Tulsa Police Department who has been out patrolling at Turkey Mtn keeping us all safe during this time! In this photo, one officer is doing his best Bigfoot impersonation! LOLS.
And they are off! Best of luck to all runners
@route66marathon
!!! Riverside Drive from 41st to 11th will be closed til about noon. Trails open but parking lots not.

CNN just listed Tulsa as a "Where to travel 2022: The best destinations to go" and one of the reasons was River Parks and Turkey Mountain! We feel pretty cool.
Curious where all this water is coming from? Here’s the drainage (catchment) basin for the Arkansas River. As you can see, it drains water all the way from New Mexico and Colorado. Although we might not have rain here, storms out west exacerbate our flooding situation.
Ya'll notice anything missing from this photo? A big fence blocking the pedestrian side maybe? There's still some cleanup and sodding to repair the landscape but the pedestrian trail from 52-53rd is back open!
Construction has begun on the new Jingle Deck which will replace the old wooden one at 59th and Riverside. Watch for construction equipment in this area. The new overlook is 100% privately donated.
We know board meetings aren’t exciting but this one is as the River Parks Board votes to accept the land donations from the George Kaiser Family Foundation and the City Of Tulsa which will expand Turkey Mountain and preserve it for outdoor recreation for years to to come.
Trail behind the River Spirit Casino is back open. Did you know that this section of trail is funded and maintained by River Spirit? Yep, it’s pretty great they created it for park users!
Sad day for River Parks. The arch tree sometimes called the rainbow tree sustained damage that cannot be stabilized and will have to come down tomorrow (Friday) at 8 AM. We are saddened to see this beautiful landmark go but mother nature has decided to reclaim her.
Did you know we have a neat spot for hammocking and slacklinging? Yep, at 56th and Riverside! If you choose to go elsewhere please don’t use tree branches, light poles, trees under 8 inches in diameter, pavilions, or statues. It can cause severe damage. Thanks!
HUGE thanks to River Spirit Casino for working months to get the trail back open. A bridge on the trail got damaged by the flood and they’ve worked tirelessly to get it back open. Thank you!!!
Tulsa Police will be issuing citations for people entering the park (that’s anything west of Riverside Dr). The possibility of sinkholes, water moccasins, disease from raw sewage should be enough reason but if ignore this warning, TPD will remind you possibly with a citation.
41st and Riverside park is where it’s at! We’re working on getting the splash pad back open but it’ll be a little bit. That flood really did some damage. :(
Fun Fact Friday! Did you know
