I found this reference of Houen Tsang (629-645AD) who says Kshatriyas were fond of juice of grapes and sugar cane..and Brahmans used a sort of syrup made from grapes.
So grapes were not brought by Moghals.

We read in history Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw bomb in assembly and never hear anything about B Dutt. He was jailed for a long time in Kalapani,participated in Quit India movement and died unknown in 1965. Batukeshwar Dutt deserves a greater respect and recognition.
He may have remained in the shadows of his legendary partner but Batukeshwar Dutt's fierce nationalism and great sacrifice must not be forgotten.
