This is Troy's brother Alex. Troy sadly passed away while surrounded by family last night. On behalf of Troy, his wife Brennah, and the Hermo family I'd like to thank everyone for supporting, donating, and cheering on Troy through his battle with cancer. He loved all of you.

Got the worst news ever today. Doc says he doesn’t feel comfortable continuing treatment. He’s suggesting hospice with how I’m doing, says treatment will most likely kill me too. Says I have weeks to live. Like everything else I will beat that. Love you all. #Hermostrong.

Surgery was a success, there was a ton of goop on the tube so definitely had a horrid infection. Most likely will have to get my stent replaced as well while I���m here. But they will put me out for that … thank god, no man never needs to see a rod and tube come out of his unit.

Got the heat pad going, oxygen going, got cranberry juice and ensure nutrition drinks on deck. Can have more pain pills in an hour. I’m going to make it today. Hopefully no hospital. Dealing with a lot so no sheets right now

Today has been a much better day, still tough, got to brush my teeth, drank a bunch of broth in some soup, drank lots of juice, haven’t thrown up, been able to keep my eyes open all day because I’m not on morphine. Let’s keep the momentum going into Monday.

Doctor came in this morning and told me I was borderline sepsis last night , so thank god I came into the hospital. Feeling a lot better with antibiotics and fluids. Still have extreme weakness in the legs which doc hopes improve over the next few days. Time table is 5-7 days.

Nephrostomy tube surgery again tomorrow morning. They said it needs to be done to remove all chance of bacteria. Will be tough but I’m stronger, gonna get it done and sleep all day. Just want to say how thankful I am for all of you. It feels amazing how many people I have.

Nurse Paul tonight has been a heaven sent, got me all the meds, got me a mini fan , been rubbing numbing cream on my extremely swollen feet and got my pain meds I like. Thank god for nurses who go above and beyond for their patients. Only reason I got 7 hours of sleep. Shout.

After talking with doctors today, we’re probably going to try and find a good hospice nurse , just need more help in the home, can tell the people taking care of me is just so much stress. I’m comfy, but just feel this would be the best chance of me living a lot longer.

We have sent over everything to get into this phase 2 Wagner Vaccine Trial which in my opinion is the best case scenario for my miracle. 60% success rate with stage 4 patients thats have been told they are dead. Its in south carolina but i would be willing to make that road trip.

I accomplished both my goals today, sat up and just drank a bunch of soup. Tired but feels good reaching my goals for the day. Now to fix my back pain, took oral pain pills and they haven’t worked. Was told I can have iv here in an hour . Hope that helps #Hermostrong.

20 tumors in my lungs. 1 tumor on my gland. Goal is gene test shows a mutation and we can target a treatment. Still outside shot keytruda gets rid of tumors in 6 months. If nothing comes back I got probably 1-3 more years. Says surgery isn’t possible.Gonna fight till the end.

Cancer update: . I’m through 4 cycles of chemo, side effects have really kicked my ass. I’m in bed 98% of the day and I can barely do anything for myself. This round has been ultra brutal which makes sense cause every cycle my toxicity goes up and also a week and a half ago I had.
