Kelly is out of surgery. 2 surgeries, 2 separate teams, a little over 8 hours in all. But her second surgery went great, everything we could have hoped for. Let the healing begin.

Kelly made it through the first (and by far the hardest) part of surgery really well, and we received positive news. She’s now in with her 2nd team of surgeons for another 2-3 hours. And I’ve finally started to breath again.

Kelly was released from the hospital at 12:30 and we’re back in my hometown of North English where we’ll be through the weekend.
I have a feeling we’ll both be sleeping a lot today. I’ll be doing it peacefully knowing Kelly has made it through this. Strongest woman in the world.

That’s what we expected, but that knot in the stomach never goes away, ya know? Probably never will. But we can deal and learn to live with that.

And I think this new law is awful.
No need to discuss it. Be angry with me all you want. Believe this law is a good thing all you want. Your right. And this is mine.
Republicans and supporters of the new law say it is a matter of ensuring fairness in girls’ and women’s athletics.

Adison’s grandfather passed away last night ... Adison rushed out of Hampton immediately after the game.
Adison told me his grandfather was his best friend. So sorry for his loss.
