After a year and a half*, I've completed the crowning achievement of my lifetime. This is it folks. I will never accomplish anything as remarkable ever again.

Specifically calling out
@thenewgroupnyc
for continuing to have
@Blake_Jenner
in Cyrano. What kind of message does that send to the theater community about your values? How little do you value women's rights to live a violence free life?
Hey Twitter friends! Starting to check out jobs in NYC. If you have recs for any companies with an especially thoughtful work culture or a strong mission, pls send them my way!
Finally saw Everything Everywhere All At Once and no one told me I was going to cry this much????
Anticipated the action, anticipated the weirdness, did NOT anticipate the profuse crying
So happy to be repping
@mavenclinic
here! Also calling out that 41% of our engineers being women or non-binary is an INSANE stat, at least 2-4x the norm.
"I love being able to see how our product improves the lives of our members—and I use it myself! Honestly, I just wish everyone had access to Maven."

@MinaMarkham
I feel like seeing someone else’s success as intimidating vs impressive says more about them. Intimidating implies a threat — what exactly is being threatened? Ego? Toxic sexist views? 🙄
Anyone else doing
@AdventOfCode
? We're competing at work, and since it's released midnight ET & scored by timestamp, I might not drink for all of December??
It turns out my competitive side beats out my alcoholic one, who knew
1/8 I wanted to share my journey navigating through recent events as an Asian American. I've seen a lot of condemnation and
#StopAAPIHate
and outrage, but nothing representing the other side.
If you make smug, judgy, extremely off-base comments to strangers on the subway (a la "avocado toast is why you can't afford a house" variety), I hope a bird poops on you today.
It’s 10:30 PM on a Thursday in NYC and I’m scared to walk two avenues to pick up something, and I’m mad at both myself and the world that I feel this way.
(The elderly Asian woman and Asian woman attacked with a hammer were both blocks away from me.)
🚨 Big news: 🚨 Today, we're launching
#IWillVote
, our effort to reach 50 million Americans about committing to vote in 2018. We want you to be a part of it — be one of the first to commit, then RT so your friends do too:
68% of Recursers in our upcoming Summer 1 batch are women, trans, and/or nonbinary -- our best gender balance ever! This could change before the batch begins (on May 17th, still plenty of time to apply 😀), but we're really excited about it!
@CoriBush
Even the wording "got pulled into", "target"ed. White privilege is not holding white extremists 100% accountable for their actions. I've never heard articles describe non-white extremists as "getting pulled into" it.
Does anyone else ever wake up from an epic dream and is just super proud of their brain? How cool is it that, every night, our brains make up a completely new world and adventure that we get to explore and make choices in
Kind of surprised by the lack of tweets around Chef contracting with ICE and then defending it on their blog as a "principled decision". Saying you find concentration camps wrong but then enabling those same monsters isn't very "principled".
Definitely getting pitched on investing in a startup literally as we're about to take off. He's not wearing a Patagonia vest though so how legit IS he really
I just recommended hot dogs to a friend visiting Reykjavik and a hostel BBQ to another friend visiting Patagonia, so clearly we know where my priorities lie.
Super heartened to such an overwhelming amount of friends engaged in and paying attention to politics :) Please keep volunteering, donating, etc., so we can keep winning!
Today's the 149th day of 2020, and according to my calendar, the 75th day I've stayed home (started 3/16).
Today marks the day I've spent more time in quarantine in 2020 than not.
I've developed a habit lately of putting headphones on at work or in transit and then unintentionally not listening to anything (eventually noticing after a while). Is this normal? Am I crazy?
As a real candidate, you're never going to tell a company if they come off as self-important assholes. Or commit micro aggressions. Or seem incompetent. Combative. Unable to communicate. Not connected to the mission or values.
Sometimes I forget how terrible white bros are. Then I'm at a bar and some guy is complaining about how someone told him Columbus committed genocides, literally commenting with "whatever, shit happens, you know?"
Okay bro. 🤮🤦🙅♀️
