@zubaidihussain Also system thinking. Primary care as part of ICSs. PCNs as part of Neighbourhoods. People as part of communities. Cross-system approaches so it doesn't matter where someone trusts to ask for support. Physical activity as such a brilliant meeting of physical & mental health.

I once watched @craft4smilescic talk about quilling & realised how narrow minded I was about "movement". Active for me is grabbing my trainers. But I've lived depression where getting up off the sofa is too hard. I want everyone outside walking but active can be so many things ❤️
@zubaidihussain Yes ❤️ Look after our staff. Because role-modelling has much greater impact than signposting. Listen to those we serve. Really hear it. Because movement might be a run. Or dancing. Or quilling! Break down the hierarchies of any solution being better. Embrace them all. Plant hope.

@JumpedUp_Kate @Ems_Steele I wonder if there is anyway you could showcase #ByDancing to the @rcpsych_SEPSIG? @gillvray @nicoletta_lekka ? I would love to think more ppl could be inspired to run the kind of projects @JumpedUpTheatre does & the value seen to psychiatry colleagues?

Jury still out whether this is parkrun with my work badge on, or work with my parkrun t-shirt on. Realised it'll depend how brave I feel!! Then realised *that* is the point. So inspired by the @parkrunUK convos with primary care colleagues this week. Heart-warming enthusiasm.

I feel how much good volunteering does me. And I love running. But running with lots of ppl? I love it when I'm in it but the anxiety barriers are crazy for me. I live what I preach. To everyone getting their trainers on who is finding it hard: @parkrunUK is awesome, we got this
